The assembly is held from the 10th day to the 13th day of the 7th month in Tibetan calendar. The main activities are horse racing, archery, singing and dancing. A legend says the assembly was introduced by Mongolians. Competitors of the horse racing are youngsters between 12 years old and 20 years old. The distance is 12 kilometers.
The other program is archery. Participants are usually the chiefs of tribes. During the assembly, young men and women will be well-dressed to sing and dance.
